Is the vinyl shutter color all the way through, or only painted on?

The color is all the way through, so, you don't need to worry about the scratching or flaking of paint.

Can the spikes be extracted later if i need to repaint the house?

The shutter spikes have a locking thread design to provide for securely fastening the shutter to the structure. The spikes can be removed but this will leave a hole that would need to be filled and new spikes would need to be used to refasten the shutters after painting. Do the shutters have pre-drilled installation holes?

No these do not have pre-drilled holes, because many customers prefer to reuse the existing holes if possible.

I ordered your sample colors for the shutters and like :Indigo Blue. On some of your shutters the color shows as "classic Blue" is this the same?

We do work with two different vinyl shutter manufacturers and it sounds like you had ordered the samples for one manufacturer and shopping the shutters for the other. The colors are comparable, but not 100%. To order the shutters in the Indigo Blue color, you would want to order the Builders Choice and Premium Builders Choice.

PVL15055BL- Do this come with Straight Top (No Arch?)- What does the backside look like?

Standard size vinyl shutters will automatically come with an arch top and unfortunately cannot be changed. We do work with another manufacturer that offers a custom size vinyl shutter where you can select between being arched top or straight top. The item number to view this item on our website is MVLL2.
