Do these shutters meet the requirements of Florida product approval number 12856?

These are just decorative, non-functional vinyl shutters and they have not be tested for any states code.

I am installing on lapped cedar siding, are the ferrules recommended?

The ferrules are designed and recommended for any application where the shutters are not able to lay flat to the wall.

Is this price for a set and what's the warranty on fading?

Do the shutters screw on or stick on?

These shutters are generally screwed on or installed using the plastic shutter loks

The pre-finished options are not meant to be painted, however, we do offer a paintable shutter. If you plan to paint them, make sure to select the paintable option in the "finish" category.

When ordering are they sold as a set of two shutters? If I order a quantity of two is that four shutters

Yes, these shutters are sold in pairs.

What size drill bit should I use?

We recommend using 1/4" drill bit for the Shutter Lok's and 11/64" drill bit for the metal screws.

What do you recommend for a window that has a height of 41"?

You would be able to use either the 39 inch shutter or the 43 inch shutter if you would like to stick with standard sizes instead of going with a custom option. Whether you choose to go with a shutter that's a little larger or a little smaller, you would want to center the shutter on your window and split the difference in height. This helps to make the difference less noticeable. Alternatively, we do offer custom options in case you want a custom height.

Is there a way I could get a sample, of a certain color?

What is the thickness of these shutters?

The depth of the vinyl shutters is just about 1". The actual thickness of the material is standard vinyl thickness, which is about 1/8". Thanks!

Are they pre drilled?

No, the shutters are not pre-drilled. This allows you to position the shutter and drill the holes wherever your existing holes are.

Does open louvered mean there is a space between each louver?

Yes, there is a space between each louver. This gives an authentic look, to these decorative shutters.

What is the Sherwin Williams formula to match Forest Green?

The manufacturer has designed this color so there isn't a Sherwin Williams equivalent. To match this color, you can bring it in to a Sherwin Williams store and they can color match it in person.
