I love this medallion but the interior diameter is not 6-1/16 inches, it is more like 5-3/4. However, it was relatively easy to cut it to the right size and sand down the edges too. I would suggest using something other than a kitchen knife. It was easy to paint and mount once I got it to the right size. With the two-piece you need to fill in where the edges come together a little and paint the fill. Though I encountered some hurdles, I still think this is a great product.
