Wood Shutter Material Information We offer our wood shutters in a variety exterior grade materials. Choose from the available materials below.

Specify Your Shutter Width Our Bahamas Shutters are designed to fit over the window opening or into the trap. Over the Window Opening When measuring for over the window opening, measure the width of the window opening and add 3". This allows the shutter to be 1 1/2" larger than the actual window opening. The 1 1/2" overhang on both sides provides room to attach the tilt arms to the shutter. Trap Installation For trap installation, measure the trap opening at the smallest points and subtract 3/8". This will ensure easy shutter open and closure.

Specify the Height of Your Shutter The shutter height should be the total window height, not including the sill. It should give the appearance that if the shutters were functional that they would cover the opening and/or glass. |

Specify the Height Fraction of Your Shutter The height fraction is the balance of the total shutter height. Example: If you require a shutter that is 57 1/2" the height fraction is the 1/2". If you need a shutter that is 57" then select 00" as the height fraction. |

Bahama Shutters..., 7.23.2008 Excellent quality. The primer was dipped on and very good. One arrived broken. You are sending me some replacement louvers to repair the break. We'll see if I can fix it properly. I wish the price was $75. It was more like $375 but a very good value for the product. |
