The Logan Baluster is an excellent choice when you require a balustrade system with the classic appeal of turned millwork. The Logan Baluster features a balanced design accented by dramatic contours and classic detail. The Logan Baluster is distinctly traditional in appearance, but features a urethane construction. High-density polyurethane foam is strong and dense yet lightweight and easy to work with. Urethane allows the Logan Baluster to resist the warping, cracking, decay and insect infestations that can damage older wood spindles. The Logan Baluster remains virtually maintenance-free and blends wonderfully with existing trim and siding materials. When laying out the Logan Baluster within lengths of balustrade, follow the 4" ball space rule. This allows for a safe maximum center-to-center distance while not allowing objects of 4" in width to pass through. When installed with appropriate rails, newels and support blocks, the 12" Balustrade System provides both safety and classic beauty.
