The Riley Baluster is defined by elegant contours and richly textured molding rings. It is crafted in urethane, a material that reserves the traditional appearance of the spindle while offering durability and virtual maintenance-free care. High-density polyurethane foam is molded into the form of the Riley Baluster to reveal fine detail and dramatic depth. This urethane spindle resists warping, cracking, decay and insect infestations. When installing the Riley Baluster, observe the 4" ball space rule to allow for maximum center-to-center placement while not allowing objects of more than 4" in width to pass through. The 4" ball space rule, reinforced 7" rails, strong newels, and rail support blocks placed at appropriate intervals will create a balustrade system that is at once beautiful and safe.
