It is distinctly traditional in form, but crafted in urethane, a modern and durable choice. High-density polyurethane foam is dense and formidable yet lightweight and easy to work with. The Classic Baluster resists the warping, cracking, peeling and decay that can lead to damage and replacement of older wooden balusters, while maintaining a nostalgic appearance. The Classic Baluster includes a pre-primed surface and does not require painting. The Classic Baluster brings both beauty and safety to the 7" Balustrade System. When installed with its reinforced rails, newels and support blocks, the system meets and exceeds building codes. The 4" ball space rule will provide safety by allowing for maximum center-to-center placement while not permitting objects more than 4" wide to pass through.
