The Marie Baluster features a petite and balanced design that results in richly textured lengths of balustrade. The Marie Baluster includes a medley of contours and molding rings. The fine lines and delicate forms found within the Marie Baluster are distinctly reminiscent of a traditionally turned wooden spindle, but the Marie Baluster is in fact crafted in urethane; a material that molds with the classic detail that makes it a modern favorite. High-density polyurethane foam is dense and strong yet lightweight and easy to work with. The Marie Baluster resists warping, cracking, decay and insects, and remains virtually maintenance-free. It does not require painting and will not peel. The Marie Baluster has a delicate appearance, but when installed with reinforced 6" rails, newels, and rail support blocks placed at appropriate intervals, its provides safety in accordance with building codes. When spacing the Marie Baluster within lengths of balustrade, follow the 4" ball space rule to allow for maximum center-to-center placement while not permitting objects more than 4" wide to pass through.
