The Ashley Baluster is a classic addition to the 6" Balustrade System. The Ashley features a versatile and balanced design defined by soft and elegant contours. Bands of molding add classic detail to this baluster. The Ashley Baluster has the distinct appearance of traditional turned millwork, but is crafted in durable urethane; one of today's most increasingly popular materials. High-density polyurethane foam remains virtually maintenance-free while maintaining a classic appearance that compliments traditional architectural features, trim and siding. The Ashley Baluster resists warping, cracking, decay and insects. It is also pre-primed and does not require painting. When installed with reinforced 6" rails, strong newels, and rail support blocks placed at appropriate intervals, the Ashley Baluster will enrich exterior spaces while providing safety. The Ashley Baluster should be spaced according to the 4" ball space rule, which allows for maximum center-to-center placement while not allowing objects more than 4" wide to pass between balusters.
