The guy who put the light up said he couldn't get it to fit tight to the ceiling so I bought a two piece medallion, got some adhesive and put it up. It was a smaller medallion so I didn't even need to use screws to get it to stay up. Not only does it cover the opening around the base of the light but it dresses up my ceiling. I did it myself with ease. Thanks for a great product and because it is two piece I didn't need to mess with the electricity.
