Product Overview

Few architectural accents posses the distinctive elegance and classical charm of the column. The classical column that we know today rose to fame in the ancient Mediterranean, and continues to win favor for its stately appeal. Thus we offer finely crafted wood column components, such as the Round Acanthus Column base. It is medium in size and designed for use with column shafts and capitals. It forms the foundation of the column, and includes beautifully carved acanthus details inspired by one of architectural history's most famous natural decorative elements.

The Round Medium Acanthus Column base is crafted in several wood species for integration with column shafts and capitals. Select from Cherry, Maple, Oak and Walnut; high quality North American hardwoods. Column bases are unfinished.
