Searched for hours on internet to find this. Most where made of wood and shutter-like, which would still allow some light and be very heavy and hard to install. Due to the material, my husband routed out the outer couple inches to fit inside the frame of the window. (on the outside of the window, not inside) Fit in like a cork, with some caulk. Looks great and is blocking the light and heat from our upstairs bedroom window. Also very good benefit is sound reduction. Very light material, shipped as stated. Can't beat the price. I was thrilled. Would be happy to provide some pics.
