Doesn't look bad from a distance, but be prepared to use A LOT of caulk. We found it almost impossible to make these two halves sit flush on the ceiling. They didn't really match up to each other very well.

It takes my breathe away everytime that we look up at it. It is perfect ! Actually the photo doen't do it true justice---it truly is magnificent. The only issue I want to point out is that the packaging was disappointing. One end of the box was already open when we recieved it and it was just wrapped in a single layer of bubble wrap. It may in good condition nonetheless.

This medallion was a breeze to install and was perfect for my application which was on a 40 foot ceiling over a staircase. But being in 2 pieces, I did not have to remove the lighting fixture.

All I can say is that it looks like a piece of art, it's beautiful. It will take a plain ordinary room and "jazz" it up. It is easy to install if you use butterfly screws (I live in an apartment). Worth the money!
