These shutters are custom manufactured to order. Service was very fast, delivery in 7 days from order placement. Installation was easy. They look great on the house. Hint: If you are a newcomer to using the Shutter-Lok fastening system, order an extra bag (12 per) of matching Shutter-Loks. You may trash one or two during your learning process.

We purchased 2 different sizes of vinyl paneled shutter which were paintable. They look great, were easy to paint, and went up easily because they are so light. There is a discernible wood grain on them, so they are a good substitute for the real thing. The people at architectural depot were very pleasant and helpful, when I needed to alter my online order. (the website didn't allow you to order just 1 shutter.) The company that painted our house and put up the shutters said it was better not to use the Shutter Loks because they break -- not sure if this is true, but we followed their recommendation.

the shutters look great. We are very pleased not only with the look of the shutters but also the price. If we would have special ordered these shutters from a local home store, they would have cost us twice as much. (maybe I shouldn't say that, you all might raise your prices). Also, when I got someone to install them for me over memorial day weekend, the last shutter spike broke. I called your customer service department the next day & spoke to Andrea. I really didn't want to order a whole pack for just one spike. She called your Texas location to see if they had some loose ones. They did & I received a couple extra today. It was an easy to use website and customer service was helpful but not 100% right. I called to confirm that the builder's grade shutters and custom order would look the same however when they arrived they did have slight differences. Because of the location of the custom vs. builders grade on our house it does not make a difference.

I was very impressed with the savings that I received when purchasing my shutters for my house. The instructions were very easy to follow and in less than 5 hours we had all 10 pairs installed. We had plenty of spare screws and anchors so they did not skimp on any of the items. My shutters arrived within the 5 day time frame they indicated. I was very impressed when I sent an email to ask about my special order shutter and promptly giving the UPS tracking code for that one, which I knew would ship separately.
