We offer two different methods for installation.
Picture A Functional (w/Louver Box)
Recessed Mount instllation is for functional gable vents. This option comes with an attached louver box and mesh insect screen. The louver box is a total of 5" less than the face frame of the gable vent and is about 2 3/8" in depth.
Picture B Decorative (Surface Mount)
Surface mount installation does not come with a louver box and is used as a decorative installation method.
