Why would I order a two piece medallion?
Typically a two piece ceiling medallion is ordered so you don't have to remove your entire lighting fixture to install your ceiling medallion. It is commonly ordered for remodels and not for new lighting fixtures.
Will you be able to see the seem?
Our two piece medallions are manufacturered whole and then factory cut in half. The total material that is removed is about an 1/8". With a little bit of caulk and paint, you should be able to hide that it ever was a two piece item.
