Hi, The plastic guards that come with the order need some better QC. 2 issues with the last batch of guards: 1. the holes at either end are aligned when they should be offset. This creates an issue when you screw in the screws because they then intersect. Was a simple enough fix to just create my own holes, but still. At least 4 of the guards were not offset. 2. The holes in the guards should be more centered on the plastic when screwing in the screws, at least on top/bottom. On at least 3 the holes were near the 90 degree angle of the guard which puts the holes near the edge of the shutter - not good. It would be easy to split the composite otherwise, no different than doing so if using regular wood. And one other issue. No small black can of paint was included in this order, but has been in all the other orders I've made. Oversight? No need to send separately, but make sure to include one in the next order. Otherwise I've been very pleased with the shutters I've received from your company. Dennis
